Advertising disclosure
Privacy and advertising
This guide is built for two advertising placements, and only those two. Both are Adsterra formats: a native placement and a banner placement. The native placement is intended to follow the opening paragraph on guide articles. The banner is the 300 by 250 format, placed near the end of those articles. The about page, this privacy page, and the not-found page do not include either placement.
What the current pages do
The built articles show a visible text label in each ad slot. Those labels are temporary stand-ins in the page markup, not live ad scripts. A stand-in label does not contact an ad server and does not set an advertising cookie by itself. Guide text comes first. The slots are marked as advertisements in the page structure.
If the ad slots are filled with live code
If a publisher swaps those stand-in labels for Adsterra's native code and Adsterra's banner code, Adsterra can receive technical data such as a browser, device, or IP address, and can use cookies or similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads. That processing is Adsterra's, under Adsterra's own policy, once the live code is present. This site's templates do not add a second ad network, a site-run analytics tag, an account system, or a newsletter form.
Links that leave this site
The wishlist button goes to Steam. Source links on the sources page go to Steam, Amplitude's community site, Games Press, and YouTube. Those sites apply their own policies after you leave. This page does not describe their practices as if they were ours.
Questions about a correction still have nowhere to go on this site. The about page states that no direct contact or corrections channel is currently available.
