About the Humankind 2 Editorial Team

The Humankind 2 Editorial Team writes this site. humankind-2.wiki is an independent English-language guide to HUMANKIND 2, the historical strategy sequel AMPLITUDE Studios announced on 25 August 2026. The game is not released. Steam lists a planned PC release in 2027, with no day or month. The pages here explain that public record and keep a hard edge around anything the record does not say.

What these pages are for

The guide covers the announcement, the Steam coming-soon listing, the themes the studio has described, a short background note on the 2021 game, and a FAQ. It is written for someone deciding whether to wishlist the sequel. It is not an official wiki, not a store, and not a place that claims to have played an unreleased game.

Images on the guide are the official Steam header and Steam screenshots, saved locally so the pages do not depend on a hotlink. Wording is original except for short quotations from the store description and from on-screen labels. Other wikis were not used as a source.

What these pages leave out on purpose

No ship day inside 2027 is stated, because none has been published. No price, review score, or unshown system is filled in to make a page look finished. The sources page is the only bibliography. Advertising is described on the privacy page and is not placed on this one.
